'Manifiesto' was a radio show founded in June 2015 (originally called 'Soulbrother nº1') by Alejandro Illán (aka DJ Blacktrack) focused on urban rhythms & street culture, as well as design, art & contemporary music history.

In April 2017 we started a space of reviews and interviews in the printed supplement of 'Notodoesindie' in the UH newspaper. We kicked off the first issue with an interview with Mala Rodríguez at the 'Mallorca Live Festival'

In November 2019 we will change the name to 'Manifiesto' expanding the contents beyond urban culture.

In November 2020 'Futureisnow' was created, a space within 'Manifiesto' that aims to unleash the sound discourse of the invited artists. With a single mission; to be able to discover the future of dance music from different points of view beyond the trend, time or style.

In June 2024, to coincide with mnfst 'Chapter 50', we released a documentary about the impact that 1999 had on the rise of Hip-Hop around the world in collaboration with 'La Naranja Biónica'

In July 2025, we broadcast 'Chapter 65 – The End of Manifiesto' and ended the radio phase on the tenth anniversary of the project, with 'Manifiesto' becoming an independent record label focused in Hip-Hop and Electronic music of avantgarde. 'The sound of tomorrow, the music of today' defines our conviction to discover new sounds.

Blacktrack (Alejandro Illán), founder of 'Manifiesto', as part of the special chapter 50, conducts this mini documentary about the impact of Hip-Hop on the generation that discovered the scene in the summer of 1999. Collecting the testimonies of his collaborators and friends, along with experiences and anecdotes. Finally, they debate the past, present and future of the culture that was born 50 years ago in the Bronx.

Directed by Alejandro Illán (Kip Studio) together with Ismael Luna (La Naranja Biónica) as a result of 9 years of joint collaboration, filmed in different idyllic spaces in the Balearic capital such as the Bellver Castle or the Na Burguesa viewpoint. Produced by Kip Studio & La Naranja Biónica together with the collaboration of Rapés1peix, Λdil, BLANCO Films & The Second Films.
